Kid playgrounds
It used to be that if you wanted to find any good kid playgrounds, the only choice that you had was to find the local park and see what kind of equipment was there. If it was raining or snowing you were pretty much out of luck.
Well, now things have changed quite a bit. Even though you can still find some nice playgrounds at city parks, these playgrounds are also easy to find at many other places as well. Some of the places where these can be found are:
• Shopping malls - There has been a recent trend to include an area in shopping malls that can be designated to be the play area. Often these are themed areas, which means all of the slides, tubes, tunnels and other equipment follow a theme. Some might be designed with a pirate feel, while others have a Dinosaur feel about them.
• Grocery stores - There are some grocery stores that now have staff employed to watch children while they play in a designated playground area while the mother or father shops. This allows the parent to be able to concentrate on getting the shopping done and it allows the children to have the opportunity to do something else rather than simply sitting in a shopping cart.
• Restaurants - Although it used to be that some fast food restaurants had these playgrounds, it has now come to pass that nearly all of these restaurants have playgrounds. Although the upfront costs for restaurant owners can be hefty, they quickly see revenues come in thanks to the fact that kids urge their parents to come to these restaurants.These are just some pf the places that you can find kid playgrounds where they were not so prominent just a few years ago.
