Playground equipment FAQs

I am on a fixed income, but I want for my grandkids to have somewhere to play when they visit. Can I afford a playground?

Yes. The great thing about playgrounds is that you can get them as expensive or as cheap as you would like. One of the good things about kids is the fact that they o not care how much the playground costs. Also, if the playground does not have all the coolest, newest toys, they won’t care about that either. As long as they have any place to play, they will be happy.

Are indoor playgrounds good for homes?

This depends on how much room you have in your home. For example, if you have a huge basement area, it may not be a bad idea to get a playground that would fit downstairs. That way, if there were bad weather outside, kids would still have a place to go here they could be active and have fun.

How are playgrounds different today than they were 20 years ago?

There has been a movement toward combining all items of playground equipment into one large entity. More than 20 years ago, playgrounds were more segmented and included more pieces that were more spaced apart.
